The small waiting room was totally full of people waiting to see or to hear something about Joe. I knew that I was still in shock. This still didn't seem real to me, because things like this just didn't happen to us but God does have a purpose for each of us. I would not have chosen to go down this road, but I love God and I knew that He would never leave me. God's Word says that He will never fail the people who put their trust in Him.

One moment in time can change everything. The Surgeon came out and told me that he was not going to lie to me, but Joe’s condition was extremely critical. He said that he would do what he could do,but did not know if Joe would make it through the surgery. He then told me that he would need God to direct his hands.
The Surgeon’s note on 03/02/1999 read like this: “It is remarkable and a miracle that he is awake.”
About the Author
The author has truly loved and trusted God for years, but only until she had to go down this path, did she find out that there is a whole new faith dependence totally on God. She found out that the weapons we fight with are not the weapons of this world, but that they have divine power to demolish strongholds. Time and time again!
