My Body is MY Body is a simple rhyming book for children that creates a safe space for families and communities to begin the conversation about body safety and boundaries. Children learn that they have the power to use their voices to help prevent and stop unwanted touching and sexual abuse. About the Author
Allison is an elementary school teacher who has worked with children all around the world. She holds a Master of Education in Human Relations/ Counseling and uses books in her classroom to teach important life lessons. After walking through the devastation of sexual abuse in her own family, she is passionate about preventing this tragedy in the lives of others. Her goal is to empower parents and families to speak about this difficult topic in order to prevent and stop sexual abuse.
