As I reflect on the years of my life, I have so much gratitude to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for snatching me from so many near-death experiences, sin, and condemnation to hell. My life’s journey began as a church girl who abandoned her religious upbringing, and that resulted in me becoming a high school dropout, a drug addict, a woman of the night, a criminal, a rape and domestic violence victim, a homeless person, and an inmate in prison. Now I am a beneficiary of His glory. I have been redeemed and transformed by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ. I am a Christ follower. I pray my story will be instrumental in inspiring others to transform their lives and to give hope to the hopeless. From my experiences, I have a right to say: glory to God, glory hallelujah!

About the Book
Christine started life as a church girl who abandoned her religious upbringing. She ended up a high school dropout, drug addict, criminal, and victim of sexual assault. Her crooked path continued when she landed in prison. Through it all, her mother prayed. The power of her mother’s faith interceded on Christine’s behalf when she had lost all hope.
Revealing My Story is told with total transparency. Part memoir and part testimony about the saving grace of God, this book will inspire others who have sinned. Do not lose hope because you, too, can be born again.
Christine’s painful story is also intended to inspire and encourage mothers whose children have strayed away from their Christian values. Christine’s mother held onto the horns of the altar, fasting, wailing, and travailing on her behalf. Her mother’s prayers and unconditional love transformed Christine’s life by the grace of God. Don’t give up! No matter how difficult, don’t stop praying. The Lord is listening and ready to save you from yourself.
About the Author
Dr. Christine Landry Elliott is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina. She holds a bachelor’s in psychology, a master’s in counseling from Webster University, and a doctoral degree in ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camellia, Georgia. She pursued a career in mental health and substance abuse for twenty-five years and has dedicated her life to serving God’s people and the kingdom of God.
