ReCoVery is not just about addiction. It is about life. ReCoVery is a rebuilding together in truth. ReCoVery is a constant, just like life is constant. The consequence of sin is designed to rob, kill, and destroy you of a life of purpose unto God. The adversary doesn’t want humanity to believe that Jesus conquered sin, death, and hell. Actually, the enemy manipulates situations, circumstances, and relationships to deceive you. Addiction is just one situation that spirals into multiple circumstances resulting in loss, lack, emptiness, self-hatred, heartfelt pain, depression, and thoughts of self-harm. These spiraling deceptions persuades one to believe that they are sick and tired of being out of control and there is no hope.
The stratagem of the adversary is predominantly through fear and torment. The deception is designed to ultimately lead to murder. It is to make the murder look like it is the result of the out of controlled situations, circumstances, and relationships, but it is truly the adversary’s false pretense. The Word of God reads, He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44 NLT).
Our great reward is His eternal life saved from sin, death, and hell. When we experience salvation and become born again. We are first saved from ourselves because we enjoy our sin. The Bible reads, “the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23 KJV). Our new destination is with Christ by faith. In faith we believe that Christ can help us get our lives back together no matter the distress. God the Father draws people to Jesus - your life into His Life (John 6:44 NKJV). “Wanted dead or alive” Is the promotion the adversary offers as a bounty for your life-your soul. He desires to render you unusable to yourself, your family, community, country, the world, and the kingdom of God. He will take you dead-dead (eternal hell) or dead-alive (internal hell)!
