Before the Flood

I have always been fascinated with what happened before the great flood of Noah because there is only a few chapters dedicated to it in the Bible and also due to when Jesus says in Matthew 24:36-39: “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be” (Luke 17:26-27). So, we may not know when the Savior will be coming back for His Church, but we can know what happened before and during the ‘days of Noah’ by reading other books, not included in our canonized scripture, that discuss what happened and the reason for the great flood.
Have you ever looked at the megalithic structures from around the world and wondered how they were built or by whom? From Puma Punku in Bolivia to Carahunge in present-day Armenia, from Egypt to the Mayan civilization in Central America, from Stonehenge in England to Gobekli Tepe in Turkey, from Easter Island to Nan Madol in Micronesia, from the Carnac stones in France to the Temple of Baalbek in Lebanon, and many others. You can see that off the coast of India and Japan that there were ancient cities that are now below sea level thanks to the great flood. All of these ancient sites are built with cut and hewn stones, whether granite or basalt, that weigh anywhere from ten to hundreds of tons per stone. And they are built in similar fashion telling me that they learned from somebody and somewhere. With our building technology today, we cannot replicate these structures. There are pyramids all over this earth, in every corner and land. Now, not all of these cities were built before the great flood, but it is my belief that most of them were which we will get to later on. How did these ancient peoples build such gigantic structures? Not only that, but how did they get these huge stones in position and how did they traverse these stones over rugged territory, in some cases hundreds of miles? Where did they learn to build? One cannot really know the truth of the matter as it pertains to these huge ancient megalithic structures, but using ancient texts one can ascertain as to the possibility that these technologically advanced civilizations, who were said to be hunters and gatherers from mainstream archaeology, learned from the fallen angels and had the help of their giant offspring.
What you will find in this book is the hardships that Adam and Eve faced out of the Garden of Eden thanks to satan. You will find the fall of satan and his hosts and also his aspirations when it comes to us, the seed of Adam and, eventually Noah. You will read about the fallen angels and what they taught humans, and you will read about their giant children who corrupted the earth. You will see that Jesus has always been and will be the King of kings and Lord of lords. You will read about a man named Enoch, who was the first prophet, who never died an earthly death (neither did the prophet Elijah – see 2 Kings 2), and who saw Jesus in the heavens before creation and on this earth in the last days. You will read about Noah and the reasoning behind God flooding the earth. And finally, you will read about Jesus and the prophecies about him told to Adam about His future sacrifice and told to Enoch about His future judgment and coming kingdom.
Now, I know that not everybody who is going to read this book is a Christian or a believer in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. If you do not have a relationship with God through His son Jesus, it is my hope and prayer that this book in some form or fashion can help with that. But please, start with the Bible as the infallible Word of God. Why the Bible? “It is because the Bible is true and trusted and valued by so many people that so many manuscripts survive from it; It is because the Bible is authored by one unchanging God with one purpose that consistency can be found among so many books written over such a long period of time by so many diverse writers; It is because the Bible is written by a caring God with all knowledge that its laws were so wholesome ahead of their time; It is because the Bible is authored by an all-knowing, truthful, faithful God that it is so full of fulfilled prophecy; It is because the Bible is true that its archaeological claims are so dependable; It is because the Bible is preserved by an all-powerful, just, unchanging God that manuscripts separated by multiple centuries are so similar.”7 This work just expands on what happened before the great flood of Noah using other ancient Hebraic texts.
