About the Author
Janice Ray is from Gainesville, Georgia and is a graduate of Brenau University and a Zeta Tau Alpha Alumna. After graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, she moved to Baltimore, Maryland where she worked for the Department of Defense for 11 years as a Special Agent and Polygraph Examiner. She is a graduate of the National Center for Credibility Assessment in Ft. Jackson, South Carolina and completed her Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University in Washington DC.
Janice is now a full time stay at home Mommy, watching her two young children and supporting her husband and his career in federal law enforcement in downtown Washington DC. She has been a law enforcement wife since 2013, with her husband first serving in local law enforcement and now in federal law enforcement. She understands the struggles that are unique to law enforcement families and has a passion for helping others overcome those struggles through Christ-centered guidance and encouragement. In 2018, Janice created The Peacemaker’s Wife, a ministry focused on bringing encouragement and hope to
omen and families who love someone in blue.
