Where is My Faith?
Is my faith in people?
Or is it in my job?
In the money I’ve saved?
Or the things I’ve stored?
People will disappoint
My job may be lost
Savings may be depleted
And stored things, exhausted
My faith is in the One
Who first gave it to me
A small measure
A huge treasure
Yes - He is the One
Inexhaustible
Never ending supply
His name - Is Jesus

Life is a journey. It is full of twists, turns, ups, downs, trials and tribulations. Many come quickly and unexpectedly. They leave you breathless and desperate, searching for understanding. It was during a “tsunami”, waves of circumstances crashing in on me, that my faith in and love for Jesus Christ, grew stronger. And it was during those times that He continued to show His love and faithfulness. He will never forsake nor abandon.
He has given me the gift of poetry to express His love for me and through me to you. As in my first book “From The Father’s Heart”, I trust that you will feel His embrace and love for you. I trust that He will draw you closer, give you His peace and fill you with His joy in the midst of the circumstances. He is our firm foundation.

Jamie Ann Colangelo is a Christian, living on Long Island. She is the mother of twins, Liane and Christopher, now adults. She is the author of From The Father’s Heart - A Book of Poems and Suggested Gifts To Inspire, Encourage and Bless Those in Your Circle of Influence. She found her passion for poetry at the age of 12 and now enjoys using her gifts and talents to share God’s love and encourage others on life’s journey.
