Reflections on Love, Humanity and Bliss Through Jesus

One of the great troubles with the people of today is that they set themselves up as judges of one another about what is right and what is wrong. One only has to see the differences in opinion on all sides pertaining to what is right and wrong. Everyone has great conviction in the truth of his or her own opinion because each person judges from his or her own viewpoint.

What people want more than anything else is love. How can one beget love by doing evil? How can one help but beget love by doing kindness? Jesus said the purpose of the world is for people to learn to love and help one another. Everyone who sees and accomplishes this prepares him- or herself for the future eternal life. Waste no time or thought on the idea that one must, or even can, reform the world. Your one and only duty is to seek until you know you have found love and Jesus Christ. Enlighten and reform yourself, and your success is assured in this world and in the world hereafter.

The terrible fallacy that people grow into is that they think what they are taught from birth is correct. But ninety times out of one hundred we are taught from birth to be selfish, self-righteous, and worldly. Our parents don’t teach this way maliciously. It is the way they were taught and the nature of most of society as well. When taught worldliness by birth it becomes an immense task to ever receive one’s spiritual sight. There appears to be few elements of God, love, and truth in the teachings of society.

Financial wealth is not happiness, money is not security, money is not safety, and money is not peace. Universal love is happiness, universal love is security, universal love is safety, and universal love is peace.

Morality, or some people’s ideas of it, often leads to false self-righteousness. Morality may condemn, criticize, and chastise. Love encourages and sympathizes. It is a love that will never forsake you, a love that you can only lose through your own indifference. A love that once discovered will never cause you heartache except through the loss of it by your own willfulness. How do you get this love? I know of only one way. When you come to the realization of the magnificent and compassionate sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for you and every other person; when you come to understand that you are born in sin regardless of how good you may think you are; when you come to understand that Christ’s love for you and your love for Christ will make you born anew; when you absolutely know the truth has been revealed to you by the love of God, which is Christ, then you will have this love and the road will ever be opened up ahead of you. So long as you willfully do not leave it. You are not free of worldly temptation at this point, but you see two distinct roads, and the power to choose which road to take is in your hands.

It is impossible to know truth except it be revealed by truth itself, which is universal love, which is God. Individual affection for another person is not love. Love is compassion for the suffering and frailty of humanity. Once this is understood, individual affection becomes a glorious foundation of happiness. Compassion for the sins and suffering of humanity comes from compassion for the suffering of Jesus. Compassion for Christ will bring him to you, and with him will come universal love because he is Love.

It isn’t that I don’t like some people. I like all people. I only dislike some people’s ways, their evil ways. What are evil ways? Worldly ways are evil ways. What are worldly ways? Self-righteousness and jealousy, which lead to hatred. In addition, bitterness, desolation, corruption, destruction, murder, and death. What, then, are good ways? Godly ways. What are godly ways? Love and compassion for all humanity, which lead to faith. Also, charity, hope, devotion, enlightenment, revelation, humility, simplicity, beauty, cleanliness, peace, and wisdom.
