What does it mean to be single? Single only means that you are not married. It does not mean that you are not worthy of marriage. In fact, one can be single and ready for marriage, one can be single and not ready for marriage. The difference between the two of these principles are the decisions you make the way you decide to live your life, who you date, your leisure choices and your standards. Your guiding principles should be the word of God. God said in his word Psalm 84:11 that He will withhold no good thing from them that walk up right. What this means is to have a righteous heart that can be noticed in your actions, the way you speak, and in the places you go. The things you do will start to show others around where your mind and heart is. Your life will take the course of your thoughts. If you think that you are not good enough to be a wife, then that will show on the outside.
First let’s set the record straight and make sure I understand why you are here, why did you pick up this book? My guess is you are like most women and how I was as a single woman. Some days content being single and other days longing for that one true love to bring that security to your life that you have seen in other marriages, some of you have had great examples of what a marriage(partnership) is and should be others may have not been as fortunate. Because we are all different and at different stages of our life, I won’t pretend to know everything let’s just say that God and experience has taught me valuable lessons. Some lessons I had to learn the hard way because I was either naïve or didn’t ask enough questions to the right individuals or I simply did not PRAY about it. Thankfully God has ordered my steps to bring these lessons to you so you won't have to learn the hard way!
If you pay attention and listen to the instructions, we (God in me) are about to share then you will be thankful you did.
