There are those of us, as mentioned in 2 Timothy 3:7 (NKJV) who are “always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Knowledge is best used when God gives us the Wisdom to understand and use what we know. Proverbs 9:1, (NKJV) says,“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Truth be told, knowledge can become a hindrance instead of helping. Why? Because knowledge, without the fear of the Lord, and the wisdom to use the knowledge we learn, is a very precarious thing. It creates within the heart of man a desire for things that he does not understand or need. In other words, it becomes a source of temptation. Upon studying Scriptures, by and by, I began to understand that Wisdom is not knowledge, it is the correct application of knowledge. A person can have all the knowledge in the world and yet lack wisdom. God blesses us with the Spiritual gifts of Wisdom and Knowledge. God gives gifts to those who will honor Him with their lives. He chose Old Testasment Bezalel of the tribe of Judah to work with his hands and gave him wisdom and knowledge in building the Tabernacle. Are we building our (God’s) Spiritual Living Sanctuary? And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship…” (Exodus 31:3, NKJV). Are we using our God-given workmanship in building God’s Kingdom? So, if we want to receive wisdom, we must have the knowledge of God, and to receive this knowledge we must embark on a diligent study of the Scriptures. 2 Timothy 2:15, KJV says, we should “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”. This can only occur by seeking wisdom and knowledge through the Word. This book, as an aid to the Holy Bible is a premiere source of knowledge that leads to wisdom. And as we walk in the Word, let us Walk in Wisdom. God wants us to have wisdom. His Wisdom! God is standing by...

About the Book
Do you believe that the essence of our Salvation is Spiritual Maturity? We are spiritually mature when we “grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18, KJV). Do you know that wisdom and knowledge are related but not synonymous? Wisdom is “the ability to discern or judge what is true, right, or lasting” (The Gospel); Knowledge, is “information gained through experience, reasoning, or acquaintance.” No one (none of us) is born wise; we must acquire and can only acquire wisdom from God. The Bible urges us often to seek wisdom above all things; “The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight” (Proverbs 4:7, ESV). Knowledge can exist without wisdom, but wisdom cannot exist with knowledge. One can be knowledgeable without being wise. Knowledge is when you know you should hear the word and the importance of it; Wisdom is hearing and knowing how and when to use it (Word) and how to live it. In order for us to obey Him and be in obedience, God wants us to have knowledge of Him and His commands, as of His word. Our knowledge begins when we fear God. If we lack or despise wisdom, we are foolish and not knowledgeable. Wisdom is a gift from God. Scriptures tell us, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him” James 1:5 (ESV). Just knowing the Bible and facts about God is not all there is to wisdom. God blesses us with wisdom; for us to use the knowledge we have of Him, in order for us to glorify Him. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction” (Proverbs 1:7, KJV). In our Spiritual Maturity, let us fear God; and let us not be foolish but wise and knowable, pleasing God. This book, teaches us; giving one an understanding and affords us the opportunity to be blessed and favored with wisdom. About the Author
As a man of God, he is considered a servant of Christ and a Minister or Steward of the mysteries of God; (1 Corinthians 4:1, NKJV). Since being regenerated by the renewal of the Holy Spirit, he is a Living Sanctuary. He is an Ambassador of the Gospel of Christ; and a Vessel of God. He is cleansed “washed in the blood” and ready to do the Master’s Work; (2 Timothy 2:21, NKJV). By the help of God, “he counts not himself to have apprehended; but this one thing he does, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before; he continuously press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus”, (Philippians 3:13, 14, KJV). Born in Greenville, Mississippi, he is a baby boomer and native of St. Louis, Missouri. During his past, he’s been a young Boy Scout, a District Scout Executive, an International Rotarian and a University Professor. And yes, he’s a Vietnam Era Veteran. Academically, he is blessed with Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology, three Masters of Arts (M.A.) in Psychology Counseling, Human Resource Management, and Computer Science and Management); and, a doctorate (PhD) in Developmental Psychology. Spiritually and socially, he’s more so in God’s unmerited favor (blessed) to have a beautiful and Godly “Help Meet” for almost fifty years with six endearing offspring. Presently, he is a writer of spiritual literature. He is grateful to God that he is a retired veteran, executive, and university professor. Now that you know who he is and whom he belong to; you have an opportunity to learn and know who His Teacher and His Master is. In addition, he is the honored author of “Learning the Way and the Truth, and the Life” (A Journey of Faith).
