In the words of Charles Finney, (known as the father of modern revivalism) born in NY and later on to NJ: (1792–1875), “A revival always includes conviction of sin on the part of the church.”
Read Acts 2:37 - 38
After Peter received the Holy Ghost, he went out and preached the gospel of Jesus Christ. The people asked “what must we do?” Peter’s response was; “repent.” In a true revival, Christians are always brought under such conviction. The first step is a deep repentance, a breaking down of the heart and getting down in the dust before God, with humility and forsaking of sin.

Be honest with yourself and with God. A revival is nothing else than a new beginning of obedience to God. Up until today this book has been one of great encouragement in time of need. Today, although it may not seem so, we are discussing revival because therein lies the deepest part of our lives as Christians, resulting in a change in every single area of our lives. Sometimes we all need to take a deeper look at who we are and where we are at in our relationship with Jesus. Today is that day.
Don’t we all need a fresh touch? Yes we do. Are you at a place in your walk as a Christian where you need a new touch? Have a talk with the Lord and listen to His still small voice and start expecting…in Jesus Name.

About the Book
I want to thank you for picking up my first book. I wrote this book to be simple and easy to read for all ages. It is actually a compilation of excerpts of messages The Lord has given me to preach throughout the years as well as a few special touches here and there. It’s been a real adventure for me and I pray that as you open these pages there’s not one day that goes by that you are not encouraged. My heart’s desire is that this book would be one of ENLIGHTENMENT through God’s Word, ENCOURAGEMENT and ENRICHMENT to know that If God can do it for others He can do it for you.
