I am so excited, as I come close to
Finishing this, my second collection of writings.
So many years, and so many faces, and those
memories have surfaced during this time.
I actually felt my spirit being fed as well
Some of the topic matter is quite deep.
But my true belief is that each poem is
meant for someone, my greatest desire
for constructing this edition, is that, that someone
is you, each page is meant only to help, and not hurt.
This war is real. God be with you ...

About the Book
War Within (the series) is a collection of poems, thoughts, and reflections from the heart, mind, and spirit of Michael Bane. It’s basis is the battle that’s within me, and many others. I hope it helps someone who may read it, as much as it helped me writing it.
About the Author
Michael is in recovery from drugs, and alcohol. He started writing the same time he started his recovery journey. His hopes are that you may relate to some of his experiences, and be helped along the way. More will be revealed.
