The Farm Grandma series of books is written for children and their imaginations. The stories come from actual experiences the animals have had on the farm, with a bit of imagination thrown in.

Can a chicken really swim?
Yes, but they prefer not to.

Can a bull prune the orchard?
Yes, but the Farmer prefers he doesn’t.

Can a goat break a leg and wear a cast?
Yes, but Farm Grandma prefers they don’t.

About the Author

Myra Christensen is known as Farm Grandma by her many Grandchildren. She lives on a small farm in Western Oregon. Myra loves writing Farm Grandma Stories for children about all the animals she and her husband have raised on their farm. Myra is also a cello and piano teacher and in her spare time plays the ukulele.
