Before we dive into what the Parenting Purpose program is, I want to first clear the air on all the things that the program is not. Confusion often comes with new ideas, and I want to provide as much clarity as possible. So, let’s begin with what Parenting Purpose is not.
Parenting Purpose is Not
The Parenting Purpose program is not a parenting style. You can parent in whatever style you choose. We don’t want to change who you are, and we aren’t here to tell you what you are doing is wrong. We will never debate issues like spanking, breast-feeding or any other intimately personal parenting issues. This program is not another way to judge you, or your parenting approach, and it is not to make you feel guilty. There is enough pressure from the world, your PTA chapter, and Facebook to last a lifetime. We accept you as you are, and we encourage you to come exactly as you are to this program. It will work for you regardless of who you are or where you are coming from.
Parenting Purpose is not a set of demands. We aren’t going to be checking in on you and evaluating your performance. We desire to make things easier for you, not harder. I am no drill sergeant; I am an encourager and a support. Therefore, this program is also not exhausting or time-consuming. You may spend as much time as you want engaged in the recommended steps. It’s totally up to you. It’s not heavy lifting, and it’s not expensive. You could spend no more than what you have for this book to implement Parenting Purpose into your life. We will support you to the level you desire and have affordable options all the way up to the most handheld support. Because seriously, you gotta keep those Legos and Rick Riordan books coming! Am I right?
Finally, I just want to remind you, that the Parenting Purpose program and all that is suggests, is not intuitive. We don’t expect anyone to know all of it. If parents knew intuitively how to train up a child for their purpose, then we wouldn’t need programs like this, and if you read chapter one than you know that we do. So please, do not feel like you should have known or implemented any of this before. Let’s have fun and approach Parenting Purpose with enthusiasm.
Parenting Purpose Is
Now that we know what Parenting Purpose is not, let’s go ahead and look at all that it is and will do for you. To begin with, this program is, at its core, insight and information to help you in having a better relationship with your child and to help them in their current and future decision-making. We offer tips and tricks to help make decisions about school, activities, relationships, work, and participating in the arts easier.
The Parenting Purpose program is supplemental. As we mentioned above, this program isn’t a parenting style but is tools to supplement whatever you’ve got going on already. That is also why we’ve made the program as personalizable as possible (it turns out that personalizable isn’t a real word, but it’s an important one for me so let’s go with it). We don’t say that you have to do things our way or with our products. You may customize any of the materials to suite your life, your family, and your unique design as well.
The Parenting Purpose program is flexible. It’s a take it on the road program that can be adapted to the age of your child, the time of year, or season your family is going through. At the time of the writing of this book we are currently enduring a global pandemic and the resulting effects thereof, and I am still parenting purpose with my children. For more on that please read the Afterward of this book.
The information and techniques in this program are teachable. You may not intuitively have this program stored in your mind, but you will soon! There is nothing in the program that is too complex or requires a phycology degree to implement. The information is pretty simple, it’s just packed in a digestible way that we’ve made as easy as possible to incorporate into your everyday life.
The Parenting Purpose program is rewarding. You will find all of your efforts repaying you with confident children who want to confide in you, a personal self confidence in your parenting, and less worry about your children’s future. Remember what we said before, “Positive action creates positive results. Even when there is no positive correlation.”
Parenting Purpose Defined
This program is the practical application of Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” (NKJV) Parenting Purpose is the action of intentionally raising your children in such a way, using specific techniques and tools, to prepare them for successful and fulfilling work, with a heartfelt sense of purpose.
The objective of this program is to teach you how to effectively train up your children in the way they should go . There are many ways they should not go. There are mostly ways they should not go. But with your training they can avoid them. So, if there are ways they should not go, then there are indeed ways that they should go. This is their “purpose”. The process of training them up, then, is “purpose training”.

Parenting Purpose takes a pragmatic approach to parenting—one that will help you raise children that are confident about who they are and what they can do in the world.
The techniques taught give children the tools they need to succeed in the workplace doing the work they were made to do. By using the book’s methods, you’ll be better equipped to positively think about your child, talk to your child, and make decisions on their behalf.
Throughout the book, you’ll get the opportunity to complete activities that can take as little as a minute to complete. These activities will give you an opportunity to process information as you receive it and synthesize it for use in your parenting.
The lessons were derived through using professional planning best practices combined with solid biblical principles on parenting and career development. The Parenting Purpose program has been used with success in private coaching for almost a decade and is now available to everyone.
Gather a group or dig in independently to bolster your relationship with your child and set them on the path to confidence, success, and purpose.
