Faith Keeps Me
I all most gave up, god’s mercy, grace and strength are holding me. I cry out in prayer lord strengthen me; lord strengthen me. This is my daily prayer. God is my refuge, his word I feed on. My company keeper, my hiding place, my secret closet, my friend, my all in all. The devil is trying to destroy my faith, my belief, and my mind.
My faith is constantly resisting the devil, the evil that he is trying to dump on me, the baggage he wants me to carry. For I am weak but my god you are strong. Lord grant me your will, grant me enough faith to endure. Increase my desire to be like you, my faith keeps me. Let me trust you and have the self-assurance which only you can grant. Life is uncertain, it requires a great deal of endurance, it is persistent, demanding, cold, and sometimes uncomfortable. With the pressures of life, faith can keep you and me.
Hebrews 11:16
16 But without faith [it is} impossible to please {him}: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and {that} he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
So many things are ahead, both happy and sad. Some hard and some easy. Some mind blowing, and showing. These times will come, and you don’t know what to do, you look around and all eyes are on you. But those eyes are not the answer that you now require or admire, because they too, are like you, only human.
The answer is Faith in God. The answer is in prayer. The answer is in the love of Jesus. The answer is in the manual of life. The bible is the manual it’s holds everything you need; all answers are there. I was sitting in the family room, while thanking and praising God all mighty, the spirit took over me and a voice said simply You Don’t Have to Worry … I had heard these words on many occasions but this time it was very different, different mean more unambiguous.
Had I not believed before or was this time a more meaningful circumstance of my faith. God had shaken me up, he had turned my space. He had summoned me to look at him, for all my needs, and to have the faith that will keep me.
James 2:14 & 17
14 What doth it profit my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and not works? Can faith save him?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead being alone.
Isaiah 41:10
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

The promise of what you have always known is no longer relevant and carries no substance that is seen through your eyes, mind, or heart. The agony that is present mentally and physically leaves you challenging realities. As well as your capabilities moving ahead at a distance. This book is a test of faith and endurance through the unthinkable. The breaking of yourself and the building of your purpose(s) here and beyond.

John W Buckner Youth Initiative - Our Hands Our Worth CEO Louise Buckner professionally known as Lady L Buckner. Born and raised in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago IL, Lady L started to look for her voice through writing. Her initial book My Life My Angel is Lady L’s family legacy in writing. After its release she continued to write to inspire others to use their voice through writing. Highly motivated Lady L put together a body of poems that later became her second book Lord Strengthen My Voice: Honest and Humble. Her life is the story of living in your truth. Lady L loves to read biographies and motivational books one of her favorite authors is Rick Warren. Louise says writing brings out her creativity, freedom, relaxation and it’s a narrative she can control. Lately she has noticed books have been taken out of circulation due to the way people think. Lady L believes all books should be available and its up to the parents and readers to decide which information, education and history they would like to explore. Lady L promotes herself on social media, book signings and events. Also through her company Lady L Buckner Productions, philanthropy, church and outreach.
