I remembered the times I cried and pleaded with God to intervene and make all things right..Now we have both moved on. And I have a new resolution and outlook.I will ensure I mostly communicate my real feelings and thoughts in a cordial manner. I will leave room for the discussion that will ensue and the conclusion that will be reached.I will always seek clarity for what I do not understand and explore all avenues for its exposition. Then my actions will be based on my learning. I wish the same outlook for those who draw close to my relationship-wise. I will also want for us to be dealing with present issues that will have future benefits than running ahead into future possibilities. I now believe that when present issues are dealt with, future issues become clearer. I will seek to understand, then be understood. I will not procrastinate. In the past, I knew there was a problem with my marriage I kept on postponing to seek for help from dedicated counselors until it was too late.

About the Author
Mary Agbotoh was born more than 50 years ago in Nigeria, West Africa. For the most part she lived her years in Lagos. That is where she got her elementary and high school education before proceeding to the western part of Nigeria for college. After college working as a reporter researcher, then as a supplements executive she relocated to the U.S. Ms. Agbotoh has always been interested in reading, and having read so much she knew she had to give back by writing about a topic of her interest.
