In my life, I found myself in deep waters several times, but God came to my rescue and made a way for me. The times when I just wanted to give up and throw in the towel, I could hear a soft whisper in my spirit: “Hold on, my son. Hold on to your faith. Remember my Words of encouragement that say, I will never leave nor forsake you.” Most of my life has been a struggle. But even during those times, I was able to find some happiness and eventually joy in my latter days.

Calvin C. Gordon is a native of Washington D.C. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. Retired from the Federal Government after 35 Years of dedicated service in the year 2015. Married to his lovely wife Tonya. He is a proud father to his son and daughter Monzique and Ariel. He has a total of seven grandchildren.
He is the author of G’s Daily Prayers and Encouragements. An Ordained Elder and Pastor. He has a passion for encouraging people to be their very best in life. He has faced many challenges in his life, but through God’s Amazing Grace he’s been able to overcome them all. He is an inspiration to so many and inspires to continue to grow in God’s wisdom.
