In this book the venture is to take an unbiased look at the need for repentance, salvation, baptism and remision of sin, and how to continue the new Christian Life in the light of Bible and if so, how, and when it should be done. We will also look at the reality of who is a Christian and what is the effect of Baptism on Christianity. The statements and verbal illustrations used are strictly Biblical factors and are verifiable. God never have tolerated or will in the future any endeavor that has a shadow of competing or compromising with Him. Ever since the fall of Adam and his wife to these three sins; these sins have been prevailing humanity. Neither the eradicating flood nor the consuming inferno erased or even made a blemish on the prevalence of any of the original sins. On the contrary as population increase in the world these ‘Three Sins’ proportionately increased; may be even in multiplex combinations?
So, what can we do to escape the wrath of sin that bring eternal death? Repent? Now, what is repentance? What is the meaning of that? Repentance and remorse are not the same. Remorse is defined as, “a distressing emotion experienced by an individual who regrets actions which they have done in the past that they deem to be shameful, hurtful, or wrong.” On the other hand, repent means to abhor the behavior or action forever and never return to it. It is like if you are walking in a sinful or forbidden path, when you come to repentance, you turn around and walk back to the optimal righteous path. Repentance is a change in the way we think that leads us to change the way we act and live. Repentance must go deeper than just recognizing our sins.
Our mind does not think like God does. We are carnally minded, and the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So, confess your sin accept Jesus as your personal savior and be a Child of God. To experience the remission of sins, the repented sinner who is aspiring for the remission of sins and thereby Salvation must have faith that the Lord forgives sins because Jesus has paid the penalty and guaranteed remission of sins. The ‘FAITH’ factor involved here is the factual understanding that Jesus lived in this world as a sinless man and paid the price for the sins of the world, including us, by shedding his sinless blood on Calvary, establishing the New Covenant. Baptism also symbolizes the sinner's entrance into the community of believers, the church. All these explanations are fragmented fanatic conclusions. A newborn Christian needs a spiritual family, a family of like faith in Jesus Christ that could provide true flawless agape love, fellowship, direction, support, and affiliation to ‘Christian Walk’. Christians, followers of Christ, are considered brothers and sisters in Christ and we need each other to build and grow in this new faith. Baptism is important because Jesus set the example for us by getting himself baptized by John the Baptist in River Jordan and after his resurrection, he told his disciples that they too should baptize those who believe in Him. It was John, who was ordained by God to pave the way for Christ who baptized Jesus. Christians follow the example set forth by Jesus and consider baptism as a self-testimony to others and the Church that they are following Jesus and his commandments. So, confess, repent, get rid of the burden of sin, get saved and testify Christ in water. If we develop right, righteous thoughts in our minds, they will create pure holy desires which intern will prompt us to do the right things, causing to correct an undesirable habit and developing us into our Christian Behavior. Once the behavior is changed it changes our lifestyle to a holy and acceptable one to God. Our thoughts, actions, acquaintances all will change making us true Christians. But never get baptized to become a Christian, because only Christians should be Baptized.
