This story begins on a cold Christmas Eve night, with a blind grandfather sitting by the fireplace in his old rocker smoking his corncob pipe. Suddenly his precious little granddaughter runs to him and jumps into his lap handing him a book and saying with excitement "Grandpa, will you read me a bedtime story?" Her three older brothers were playing on the floor nearby and they started to giggle and say in a low voice," READ!" DONT SHE KNOW THAT GRANDPA IS BLIND? HE CANT READ! Grandpa hears them and chuckles. He tells the children, "YES" grandpa is blind but this story is written on my heart, this story is written on my soul. Grandpa opens the book pretending to read it, and begins to tell the story of Beyond The Manger.

About the Author
Mrs. Brenda Buckner, is a born again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. She is married to Paul Buckner. She is the mother of five adult children, she is also the grandmother of eleven precious grandchildren whom she dearly loves. Brenda is a certified biblical life coach, a certified Post Trauma Growth Life Coach, also a youth motivational speaker. The Lord has graced Brenda to write, produce, and dramatize a one woman's live dramatization entitled, "The Portrayals of the healings of Jesus". She has a passion for those in the body of Christ who has been traumatized and victimized who are in need of Jesus healing. It is her God given desire to reach as many people as the Lord allows with his message of HELP, HOPE, AND HEALING.
