Worship the King!

The Christian experience is a journey of faith. What is this way of trusting? It is that we find the world of the unseen more convincing than this one. In the uncertainties of life, there is certainty in what God has promised: “Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast… even Jesus” (Heb. 6:13-20). Let us hold fast the profession of our hope without wavering, for He is faithful that promised (Heb. 10:23). He is with us to accomplish His perfect will in our imperfect lives. When trouble comes, our confidence in God never remains the same. It either diminishes or deepens. Why? Because our faith has been challenged. We want to figure things out and understand the reasoning behind everything happening. Yes, we experience pain and confusion. But there are so many things we cannot understand. And when we suffer, any intellectual response seems inadequate. In times of difficulty, we need more than logic. We need hope. Jesus Christ is that hope! I understand deep grief. The intense pain of losing my dear wife, Marjorie, cannot be put into words. But God is healing my broken heart, turning precious memories into treasures more valuable than anything I will ever own. Do not stumble at the mysteries of life where there is no explanation. Instead, find comfort in the knowledge that you are a child of God, living by faith with heaven in view (Rom. 1:17). Jesus taught us to live one day at a time (Matt. 6:11), and if we want peace, we must give up the need to understand. Trusting God in all things is essential to a victorious life in Jesus. Live with a desire to have a deeper, more meaningful walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. Worship the King! is filled with practical, helpful messages conveying the truth of God’s Word. As you read this book, you will be inspired to draw closer to the Lord. My writings are rooted in the Word of God, and I have included biblical references for study. God's strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Cor. 12:9). What I have come to understand about God's grace has created a powerful difference in me, and He will do the same for you. Today, I find joy in reminding others how Jesus Christ longs to redeem every situation and circumstance. I pray you will draw joy from the wells of salvation (Isa. 12:3). God has been with me wherever I have gone. Indeed, the Master of the wind will calm the storms of your life, for He is with you!
