The Heart
God is interested in my heart and wants me to live out of it. This is because in our heart are the issues of life, the passions and desires that give us joy. The things we do and believe in give us a sense of purpose and fulfillment as a human being while here on earth. God’s love has been put in the center of my heart because I have been made by Him. I am His creation; I am not a mistake and He chose for me to be here on earth at this time.
In the end, it doesn’t matter how well we have performed or what we have accomplished, a life without heart is not worth living. For out of it flow the issues of life. It is in our heart that we first hear the voice of God and it is in the heart that we come to know Him and learn to live in His love.
Just enjoy the reality of the life of the heart but know, whether you believe in God or not, He believes in you and your heart matters to Him

About the Book
In this book the author describes what was going on in her heart during her journey of getting to know God. She shares openly part of her life’s journey in this process through personal experiences and poems. It is meant to be an encouragement for those seeking to know their own heart and the heart of God towards those whom He created.
About the Author
Catherine Baker was born in Edinburgh Scotland in 1947 and has lived in many places in Scotland, England and for the last 35 years in The Netherlands. She has been involved in Christian Ministry and has been a prayer minister, teacher, and counsellor. She has travelled to many parts of the world and been exposed to many different types of people and cultures. She has always been interested in the various aspects of relationships and personal development for herself and others. This inspired her to look at many sources where they taught more about living out of your heart, which led to her writing expressive poems in trying to connect her heart with God.
