When she was sixty-six years old, author Dr. Alfreda Dearing Williams returned to school to pursue a doctorate degree. This hadn’t been on her list of aspirations, but God had other plans. In God Knows Your Name, she shares the story of her journey, a journey with a divine purpose ordained by God. Through her personal testimony, she offers an inspirational, encouraging, and teachable guide. Dr. Williams encourages you to come into the knowledge of your God-given purpose for your life and to live in your purpose and glorify God. God Knows Your Name helps you discover and understand just how special, unique, and ultimately loved by God you are. And this understanding will lead you to fulfilling God’s plans.
About the Author
Dr. Willimas is the owner/director of Priority Family Services, a social work agency in Georgia. She holds degrees as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Doctor of Social Work (DSW). Throughout her lifetime, she has served as a licensed minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ and teacher of the Word of God in Christian congregations in Georgia. She is a member of Gospel Hope Church in Avondale Estates, Georgia. She is the mother of seven children and five grandchildren.
