About the Book
When you face traumatic experiences without taking the time to deal with them, you cripple yourself from being all you can be. You breathe a sigh of relief and close the door behind you because you escaped from these painful encounters. You move on, believing that surviving is the same as processing. Yet, like chewed gum on the bottom of a shoe, you’ve picked up other things along the way that prevent you from living to your full potential. The past alone doesn’t simply leave a mark; when left unresolved, it causes you to adopt unhealthy habits, false narratives you tell yourself, and poor coping skills that attach to the way you do life. In Let’s Face It, author Nefateri P. Smalls gives you an opportunity to face your past and start the journey to healing. She outlines proven steps to help you overcome the jagged edges of life that you carry every day. No matter what you’ve experienced, she offers a roadmap to wholeness. Filled with Biblical principles, personal experience, reflection opportunities, and more, Let’s Face It provides practical wisdom on how to apply what you learn to the real world, setting you on the path to the fulfillment of your life’s purpose.
