Praying with Jesus

In Galatians 3:11, it says, “The just live by faith.” To illustrate the working of faith we can look at it as a fork we eat with. Usually, a fork has four prongs and if one of the prongs is missing.

It is difficult to eat. In the same way there are four prongs of faith that we eat with in the spirit realm so that we can live and be successful in prayer. Mark 11:22-26, gives us a picture of how to pray successfully. Just as a physical body has several parts that make it function effectively, so does prayer. These prongs are: 1) have faith in God, 2) believe what you say will come to pass, 3) believe you receive it and 4) be willing to forgive. These are different forms of demonstrating our belief. Romans 15:13, says. “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). As we consider or embrace faith, we must remember that God helps our believing.
