About the Book

Brett the plesiosaur must swim deep into the ocean to bake cookies for his mom, but when his long neck isn’t strong enough to save him from the dangers in the darkness, who will be? A biblically and contextually-faithful retelling of the parable of the Good Samaritan in the ancient ocean, The Good Pliosaur doesn’t shy away from pride, bandits, and bruises as it shines light on the unfathomable love God has for us and the love He calls us to have for one another.

About the Author

Spencer Patterson has taught English, leadership, and game design at the high school and university levels for more than five years. He currently serves as resident director at John Brown University, programming events, discipling young men, and caring for students in crisis. The author of several short stories and poems, he serves as the editor of “Tabletop Reviews” for the website Geeks Under Grace. He and his wife have three daughters and live in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
