While traveling on our journey of living life, we may arrive at a new juncture that does not in any way “jog” our memory in such a way that this is familiar and something that we may retrieve from our archived memories. This will take place since anything prior to yesterday as well as yesterday, cannot be completely lived through again at the exact time, in the exact way and with the same interaction of feelings nor actions as prior. However, what we may be able to do is trust that there are likely an array of lessons each day that we may learn as a result of living life and gain greater levels of understanding, wisdom and knowledge; we may access those pieces more and more easily as we face today and more days after tomorrow prayerfully so that we may not lose our way but know how to access once again the skills and the intrinsic motivation that it took previously to press on through even if we must stand alone and remain alone for a season or not part of something that we have cherished, loved and were passionate about.
May we still recognize that the greatest of even the aforementioned is the “GIFT” of salvation and eternal life and with that there are automatic benefits that we may not see/view as benefits nor may we believe that we have present such as peace, joy, hope, love, long suffering, perseverance (fruit of the spirit), but what we should recognize and realize is that the moment that we asked/accepted Jesus Christ into our life that we received all that “accompanies” the Holy Spirit, even if we have not yet “tapped into it”, such as peace, perseverance, strength, discernment, wisdom, faithfulness and much more!
We just may not yet know how to identify it, walk in it, trust that it is present as well as execute it in our day-to-day thoughts, talk, actions, walk and pursuits! No worries!!! It continues to evolve over time and right when we think we have some things figured out, is when something “new arises” and it may force us to gravitate toward any number of things as to sturdy our walk and once again revisit our progress/growth, choices and ask ourselves, “how in the world did I get here again in a place of unknown, unwanted, undesired etc.,” and that may also be when we once again realize that the trials, wind gusts and undercurrents in our life actually have come to make us stronger and wiser as well as prepare us for what may not be yet seen but is yet ahead.
Look at those as times of “PROVISION” as well because God is providing us with a “sneak preview” of how to handle things as they arise and how to maintain our dependency on Him and not other people, things nor ourselves. We never want to forget Whom has been our true Help and desires to be everyone’s’ constant ever present Help. The truth of the matter is, we are living in an imperfect world and we too will never be perfect yet we can know/serve/obey/honor/respect/praise an Almighty Sovereign and Perfect God! Arriving at the realization that He is perfect in all ways and things and in decision making will likely be the challenge to overcome but is not meant to hinder nor hurt/harm you but to help strengthen our faith, our walk, our trust, discernment and a willingness to trust that He does indeed have a perfect view of all things from where He sits high and looks low and therefore sees everything prior to us making a plan and working our plan. Scripture states that we make a plan but God orders our steps in Proverbs 16:9. It is during the process of us making our plans when things may become quite interesting as well as cause us to have a second thought, question God’s decision to allow bad things to break out in our lives at times that are quite inopportune/inconvenient and once again we may recall that He will give us the desires of our heart; isn’t that what the Bible states we may ask Him??? Didn’t He say that if we seek Him first that all these things shall be added unto us in Matthew 6:33??? Didn’t He say that no good thing would He withhold from us in Psalms 84:11??? Yes, that is true but we must also continue to stretch our ways and thinking so that we may also recognize the scriptures that further build our spiritual man/life and help us to crucify our fleshly desires. God knows we may have a list of “I wants” that He can surely provide, may provide or absolutely will not provide. It is also in this that we must trust that God knows best since “He is a perfect God”. Becoming more and more like Christ in our thoughts and ways should be our hope for, reach for to think about, need and desire above all else because that is what God desires and that too is best for us!
So again, when we begin seeking first these kind of character traits as opposed to things that will collect dust and likely have little to no impact on our own lives remaining connected to God nor influencing others to desire God more than things, in my opinion, since the scripture states seek first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you, then seeking things such as noted already means He sees, hears, understands and knows what else we need, when we need it and the best way to bring to fruition the provision for us, therefore, if that means times of going without and perhaps times of seeming like “He forgot us again”, that is not what is taking place. This is what I call the “Wheel/Will Process”.

About the Book
As we travel throughout our journey of living life we may already be a believer that God and His power is real yet still struggle at times contingent upon the terrain we are traveling along at a specific point and time along our journey.
In book two of four of the Journey GPS book series, we explore that one thing is for certain, we desire to trust His guidance but we still may desire to have more questions answered about how He will PROVIDE for us along our journey when things seem unlike what we expected in our Christian walk and we find ourselves at a crossroads or fork in the road questioning once again “how did I get here” and “what should I do next” that aligns to God’s will, plan, way, timing and my divine purpose so that no matter what, I may be prepared and equipped with what I need “within” to trust God, my true GPS and Continue the Journey!
About the Author
Dr. SASIE is a born-again believer in Jesus Christ, who gives all glory, honor, and praise to Him. Although always a believer, she did not always understand the value and the vital necessity to having a personal and intimate relationship with the Lord. As a child and young teenager, she often fondly thought of Jesus Christ as more like a history lesson based on her upbringing in the Lutheran faith and attendance of parochial school through middle school, where she was exposed to the doctrines and beliefs according to the Bible and the triune God, which was the focus of daily religion class at her Lutheran school she attended and participated in for the majority of every Wednesday morning. That is where she received more in-depth teachings and later was confirmed under the Lutheran faith at the age of thirteen. Dr. SASIE first gave her life to Jesus Christ and accepted Him as Lord and Savior at the age of nineteen, shortly before having heart surgery.
Just as others have, Dr. SASIE experienced a series of life-changing experiences and circumstances that left her feeling slightly lost, disappointed, and like although the scriptures states “never will He leave us nor forsake us” that He had left and forsaken her at a time she needed Him most, thus the decision to further study the Bible independently as if it were her research topic similar yet different to her dissertation work completed in education because she knew that if God had helped her be successful at turning around schools, student’s choices, and their academic achievement, that surely He could help her turn around the unusual back-to-back crisis’s and challenges she suddenly faced despite her dependence solely on God, and as a result, a book series and a business came to fruition despite her realization what the future journey had in store. Initially, Dr. SASIE didn’t think she could make it, but later came to the realization that God allowed her to live through it, survive it, and began to flourish through the small beginnings because He already knew she could handle it.
When life no longer made sense, she spent even more time in the presence of God and sought His face and their relationship grew and grew. Through this journey, the Lord taught her how to not only survive the devastation, but to thrive and then help others do the same. Dr. SASIE made a promise to God that one day she would share some of her experiences and tell everyone she could, and everywhere she went, that God is real, and able to do the unthinkable and impossible no matter what the trial, circumstance, or challenge, we find ourselves in or approaching in life.
Dr. SASIE is a yielded vessel to God who has given her life, time, skills, talents, and gifts to Him, to use as He sees fit. She knew at the age of five that she would one day be a teacher. She now knows that even then, the Lord had a calling on her life and knows that the good work He started in her, He was already bringing to fruition. While she thought teaching was the end, He had so much more in store to become an educational leader for the majority of her nearly twenty-year career.
