Whenever you begin to doubt What the power of Jesus is all about Remember how He’s blessed you in the past Remember all the good things that He has given you, Start to recall if you can, Count the times when He didn’t answer your prayer And I know you cannot! When in doubt, shou Hallelujah, Jesus is mine. When dark clouds are hovering over And the sun refuses to shine Just remember what I told you about King Jesus, He is a friend of mine. When the good in life seems to pass you by And you begin to wonder why Look to the One who holds the key for today Who has countless times opened doors and made you a way And renewed your hope in the new dawning day, When in doubt, shout Hallelujah, Jesus is mine. When the blessings of life flow full to overflowing, There are so many coming from directions unknown Remember that Jesus does now and forever will, Answer the prayers of His children when they call. He will never let His loved ones fall. If you just pray and wait, for His time is never too late. You can call Him any time of the day and or the night When in doubt, shout Hallelujah, Jesus is mine!

About the Book
The poems in Songs of Praise were written while sitting in the choir stand and listening to Rev. Frank Calloway preach. Every Sunday he said something that inspired me and opened my mind to writing a poem. I started writing these poems in 1974 and didn’t stop. In 1995 I decided I had enough poems for a book. I still added more poems to this collection, and I’m still being inspired everyday to continue to write inspirational poetry.
About the Author
Karolyn was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan in a family of writers and musicians. She chose writing as a hobby at the age of 12 which turned into a serious occupation in her early 20’s when she started entering Poetry Contests and winning first place contests and offers for appearing in public formats to recite her poetry.
