Hear one of the stories from the book: "The Evangelism Team" There was once a pastor who had an evangelistic team he was about to send out into the community to bring in converts. He sat and talked with them before they left the church. One of the young converts who was a part of the team said to the pastor, "What kind of members are we looking for?” The pastor responded, “Well, you know the man who gets knocked down in sin and stays down? We don't want him. Then there is the guy who gets knocked down and gets back up when he is knocked down; but when he gets knocked down the second time he stays down. We don't want him either. But then there is the guy who keeps getting up no matter how many times he gets knocked down.” The young novice minister interjected, "That's the guy we want, isn't it pastor?” “No!” the pastor replied, “I want you to go out and convert the guy who keeps knocking everybody down. That's the guy I want!”

MARK D. MICHAEL is a chaplain, and writer. He holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. He has served God through Christian ministry for over thirty years.
