About the Book

To everything there is a season…. If we’re honest, none of us enjoys change. When change occurs in our lives, it’s only human to feel worried and concerned. But it’s essential not to let your emotions dictate your actions. In Navigating the Seasons of Life, Bonnie Russell gives us fresh insight into how God uses the changes of our own “spiritual metamorphosis” in order to be transformed into the image of Jesus Christ. She gives us fresh insight into how to embrace the changes each season of life brings, through scripture and sharing stories from her own spiritual journey. Bonnie shows us even though we may not understand the reason for the change, trusting in God leads to the knowledge that He will work all things together for our good and His glory. Bonnie encourages us to joyfully accept the season of life we are currently in no matter our age. Through studying the Word of God, she is persuaded that God’s grace is sufficient to carry us from one season to the next. Sometimes we have to prayerfully ask God to change the lens in which we view our current season. The beautiful truth is we serve an unchanging God. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He is always good, always loving and all-powerful. No matter how the world changes around us, we can trust in a constant God. Nations may crumble, governments may fail, yet our God remains the same.
