Insights into Prayer and Authority

"He has given different believers gifts, abilities and roles in building His church for one purpose, to advance His kingdom in the earth. When the mouth, eye, hand and feet are disjointed, people may build their personal fiefdoms and have the appearance of individual success, but the kingdom suffers, God's will is not advanced and the works of the devil are not destroyed! Ephesians 4:11-16 highlights this very point; maturity in the things of the spirit makes the church more effective, productive and unified in purpose. "Pray that believers everywhere would be one in spirit; that they would be more faithful to God and the fulfilling of His purposes. Pray that they would be prepared to put their ambitions, biases and traditions aside. For denominationalism will see its end when the Spirit is able to unite and bind believers together with peace so that there is one Lord, one faith and one baptism!"
