We need to be building the local church (Matthew 16:16-19; 1 Timothy 3:15), because it helps our Lord build His real Church, the church that includes everyone who is born again. It is called the Church Universal (or, the Body of Christ) and includes all saved people from the day of Pentecost to the rapture of the Church. Part One Doctrinal Treatises About Things I’ve Been Thinking About Chapter One A Reformation God is doing something big in the world, and it is bigger than a revival. This is because we are in the midst of a reformation, and it has come about because of the apostacy of the Sardis church, the Sardis church being the fifth local church mentioned in chapters two and three of the book of Revelation.

About the Book
I began this book with a treatise that explains where we are in local church history. It is chapter one of part one. But then in chapter two I explain why Israel is as important to Jesus Christ as His Church is. However, there is a third part of the Kingdom of God that is just as important and loved by Jesus as the other two. I explain this in detail in section one also. In part two I have included two treatises that I wrote in 1976. They give further insight about the nation of Israel. And lastly, I end with two short stories about Christians who are living for Jesus and are doing ‘God’s work’ in today’s world. It is part three of this book. So, I began writing about the local church and end writing about it.
About the Author
Dennis Mather studied at Faith Baptist Bible College and Seminary in Ankeny, Iowa. Even though he has a bachelor degree from there he didn’t go into an established ministry. This is because the Lord had other things for him to do, among which are: he has been the teacher of many Bible studies, and he also wrote five books of which this book is one of them.
