As she fell, God had positioned her perfectly so that the curved seat of the saddle, where she had just been sitting, came down over her waist with the saddle horn by her left side and the cantle at her right side. Had the saddle landed on her in any other way, she would have been seriously injured by the saddle horn or the cantle, or crushed by the horse.

The Lord is my Shepherd highlights the 23rd Psalm with a collection of true stories about real people who have walked through difficult times, perhaps life-threatening events (the valley of the shadow of death) and with God walking beside them, emerged safely on the other side.
About the Author
Sue Gill Harris lives in a rural area south of Abilene, Texas. She is a devoted grandmother, mother, retired elementary teacher, canasta lover, wife and child of God. Her favorite things are “Sunday dinner” with her family and canasta with her favorite friends. Sewing, knitting and crocheting are her favorite pastimes. She loves the Lord and serves in children’s ministries as well as other committees in His church.
