About the Book

Have you ever been confused about news you read about from around the world? en fear not, as a former child geography whiz, I am here to help you. You may agree with me, or disagree with me, but my purpose is merely to inform. I also make sure not to sensationalize or catastrophize. I always try to leave some glimmer of hope, or at least some humor, in every one of my articles lest I be another voice of doom and gloom. I hope you all enjoy what I have been working on for the past year.

While embarrassed of it at the time, the most impactful experience was his victory in the 2007 New Mexico State Geography Bee and attending the national Finals in Washington, DC. After graduating from Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, Tennessee in 2013, Sam went on to earn a Bachelor’s in Political Science and International A airs from Furman University and a Master’s in International A airs from Middle Tennessee State University. He works as a freelance writer and podcaster in Nashville. Sam has traveled extensively around Europe, including to once-unreachable nations in the continent’s eastern half such as Serbia, Bosnia, Lithuania, Poland, and even Russia. He has also visited Israel and New Zealand. Sam is also an avid and passionate golfer, but admits his golf skills will never be fully up to par. No matter the state of his golf game, politics and international a airs will always be his passion.
