About the Book

Ride with Daniel as he drives a plain white van with his team into the depths of rocket fire to evacuate people and to deliver food, supplies, and, most importantly, hope to the Ukrainians trapped behind the front lines. Keep watch with Maribeth as she cares for their children, packs food parcels, and prays for Daniel’s safe return. Experience life in Ukraine as a member of a non-profit organization focused on serving everyday Ukrainians and carrying hope and joy to the darkest areas. Get ready for an action-packed adventure, filled with daring evacuations, underground bomb shelters, the birth of a child, and so much more. This book will inspire you to get out of your comfort zone and make you question how much you really trust God.

About the Author

Daniel and Maribeth Beiler currently live in Ghana with their five children and have spent years serving in war-torn and disaster areas, starting in war-torn Iraq serving the Kurdish refugees, continuing in the US and responding to deadly natural disasters, then serving in Ukraine right after the war with Russia started in 2022. Their years of experience as a family with young children offer a unique perspective on serving the most vulnerable populations and carrying Christ to the darkest places on earth. Two of their children were born in countries in turmoil. They’ve worked alongside opposing military factions, government officials, and special forces members all while maintaining their non-resistant views and following Christ fearlessly into places where even the military fears to enter.
