OUR PRAYER Open the door Remember the promise you gave us before Never to leave or ignore So much suffering, please come and restore We cannot take it anymore Sometimes it feels like we are oceans apart However we know you are never that far You said you will be there for us When friends are gone When all hope is lost We need you now more than ever before We cannot do it on our own You have opened doors before You have opened blind eyes before You have removed all obstacles before Yes you can do it again, like before Please save those kids in countries filled with wars Please heal the sick over here and over there Please provide for the homeless and the moneyless Save us from going in that pit or taking that fall Save us from going down the wrong path which is a pitfall Remind us who can give it all Remind us who can restore it all Remind us who gave life and who can take it all Remind us who is the greatest of them all From this moment we will look to you From this moment we will trust in you From this moment we will give our hearts to you From this moment it’s all about you

About the Book
This book is a compilation of short poetic messages. Through these expressions, Evon's aim is to uplift, encourage, and motivate others in times of weakness, loneliness, and hopelessness. His ultimate desire is to help make this world a better place. His motto in life is "Live a balanced life." This comprises the three Fs (family, friends, and fun) and most important, let God be the center of your life.

About the Author
Evon Small was born in Jamaica, before migrating to Canada in 2006. He is married to Throna Small for over 17 years and he has two children (Elandra & Trevaughn Small). Evon is a process coordinator who is working in the cement industry for the past 20 years. Evon is a lover of all forms of artistic expressions. Recently he got the calling to start writing through daily inspirations. Through his poetic expressions, his aim is to uplift, encourage and motivate others in times of weakness, loneliness and hopelessness. His ultimate desire is to help make the world a better place. His motto in life is "Live a balanced life". This comprises the three F (family, friends & fun) and most important, let God be the center of your life.
