A Heartfelt Gratitude The great Job of the Old Testament went through a roller coaster of pain, sufferings, trials, rejection, and criticism. In spite of what he went through, he maintained a rightful attitude and a grateful spirit with God. In his hopeless situations, he wrote; “And where is now my hope? As for my hope, who shall see it?” (Job 17:15KJV) In (NIV) it says; “15- Where then is my hope- who can see any hope in me?” It’s the same question people from many parts of the world are asking. And many of them asked the same question after they were at the end of their rope, because of their beliefs and faith in false hopes. We placed our hopes on people, on human wisdom, human strength and capabilities. We let God watch us on the sideline as we play our own game which is bound for destruction. It’s not that God don’t care about us, but it’s because we ignore Him, and we disguised our doubt and fear in the name of self pity instead of trusting Him. What He can do to us and for us is in His hand and for His glory. And if God will do something great in our lives, we have the tendency to overlook Him and be ungrateful to Him.
