A Bible centered exploration about the inescapable, inevitable, and unstoppable expulsions from Debts, the sure Death, and our future during the Day of the Lord. I originally designed the Manuscript for Bible Study lessons, but in the process, after much prayer and studies; I realized the importance of the 3D's in our lives. These are the realities that we all know will be in the process of controlling us, putting us down, hurting us and our families, but at the end of the road of our journey, will fly us with Jesus if we're His disciples. The 3Ds are Debt, Death, and the Day of the Lord.
Debt is in the Bible. The Old Testament mentioned debt, and the Lord Jesus, as well as the writers of the New Testament wrote about it. There is no mention of human debt to fellow men being identified with sin. Debt becomes sinful when it is being abused, unsettled, used wrongfully or to be straightforward- unpaid. It behooves me to write about debt when we experienced the night of being overwhelmed by the weight of it in our lives. The discouragements, its disturbance even in our dinner table, the sleepless nights of having to think about it, and the annoying phone calls, and letters from the Collection Agencies makes you feel like you wanted to surrender to anyone, just to eliminate the terror of it.
It made me think that I wish the Bible Seminary that we came from taught us how to budget, live a thrifty life, and be a good steward. But they were never at fault. We cannot blame anyone for our own messes. It made me think of how many more Pastors, Missionaries, and families have to go through what we went through because of failure to handle our finances the way God wanted it to be.
Debt could also be spiritual and has something to do with our destiny or our next life after the grave, of which this will take us to the next "D"- of which I also sadly believe that many people are not even ready to talk about it.
I was thinking of Death as the saddest and ugliest thing that can happen to every creature, even to our pets or an animal in the zoo. Death does not only hurt the hearts of millions, but it also hurts the pockets while grieving. I recently experienced such pain in our family circle. It made me think that we should not only be aware of how to make money, be in control of our debt, and how debt (both spiritual, financial, material, etc.) could work for us, and for our advantage; but also to be prepared if death will ruin all our plans, and our financial stability. Death does not give us any signs and warnings, because it is in the hands of God. Death is the unseen ladder to the Abode of God, but it can be a big unseen hole to eternal punishment for rejecting the offered payment for our debts of sin and wickedness. Don't let death be your stop over or last visit to church before going 6 feet below the ground. Go to church, and choose God!
Debt and Death are inescapable, inevitable, and unstoppable- so is the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. If Jesus will come during your lifetime- you may escape death and avoid paying your debts to your creditors. But for sure, if Jesus is not in the heart of those who will be left behind, they will experience the chaos and miseries that have never happened since the foundation of the world.
Some Bible Scholars and Theologians had their own beliefs about the Rapture and the Tribulation Period. The Rapture is when Jesus will take home His own people in a twinkling of an eye. The Tribulation Period is the 7 Years of hardships in the hands of the Beast which is the Antichrist with the false prophets. But whether it is Pre- Tribulation, Mid- Tribulation, or Post- Tribulation; we will all be leaving this world on that day when He comes for His own. The most important thing is you have Jesus in your heart as a Born Again believer.
Expulsions: Living Out of Debts, Overcoming the Sting of Deaths, and Departing on the 'Day of the Lord'.
A good and easy exit is something people wanted to get through. That's one of the spots, places, opportunities, roads or doors that people will try to look for to get out. Everyone experienced the urgent desire to exit or to be out from something or someone.
According to Online Etymology Dictionary; "expulsion (n.)
c. 1400, expulsioun, in medicine, "act of expelling matter from the body," from Old French expulsion or directly from Latin expulsionem (nominative expulsio), noun of action from past-participle stem of expellere "drive out" (see expel). From late 15c. as "forcible ejection, compulsory dismissal, banishment" as from a school or club."
The act of expelling or the state of being expelled. [Middle English expulsioun, from Old French expulsion, from Latin expulsiō, expulsiōn-, from expulsus, past participle of expellere, to expel; see expel.]
These are the 3 Major things that are unavoidable or unescapable in life from the Fall of Man up to the day of the Coming Messiah who will snatch His people to be with Him in the air. These are the events and parts of our lives where not a single person will not be indirectly or directly impacted and forcibly be expelled by all means or according to the Will and Timetable of God.
When a person utters the word "Expulsion"- what definitely will come to people's minds are negative things, reasons, or maybe circumstances. It will take them to the conclusion of someone being expelled from or unto something due to unacceptable judgment, reason, action, circumstances or decision.
"Expulsion" is not a passive word. It's not like not taking a shower for a day or two will make you a bad person. There is some kind of necessity or urgency in the word, and indeed- it has urgency on it! It reminds me of the people who were inside the building that's on fire; they (the people who are in danger of fire and death) have the urgency to work with the firefighters or anyone who will try to save them, keep them out of danger and death, and to expel them to safety.
I posted this on Social Media. But just imagine if the promotion of this book before it will come 'Live' will not be happening because Jesus came before the target date. It will be a great day. It is indeed way better than holding the hard copy of this manuscript. (1 Thessalonians 4:13- 18). Christians will at least escape death through the Rapture of the church or the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Air. (1 Corinthians 15:51-52 KJV) "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, [52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."
Going back to the analogy about the firefighters; if we got out of the dangers of debts and death- it means we're free with Jesus in heaven. Debt, Death, and the Day of the Lord is the best analogy I could share to people who are in that kind of situation. And every day, we see people walking around, working, worshiping at church, but they are living their lives like they are in that building in danger of burning to death or be incapacitated for life because of debts.
Millions of people are in the building of fire of debt or are in the process of building a big debt that may take them to the wall of fire wherein getting out of it would be next to impossible, unless God will work out for their expulsion, and His intervention will go its way. The worst thing that can happen is when they are in the building, stuck in its 4 corners, not knowing the danger of death- both physical and eternal, of which God is their only Way to Exit.
