About the Author
In the spring of 2010, Willow Love purchased a home for her fifteen-year-old quadriplegic daughter. The brick house was easily converted for an electric wheelchair and everything looked good for the small family. Unfortunately, in September of 2010 there was three days of heavy rain. Willow could not sleep on that last night of the bad thunderstorm. At about three o’clock in the morning she heard her cats crying. Willow went to check on them just to discover her garage was flooding with water. She moved quickly to her phone, but the line was out. Her daughter, Ceci, texted for help. Their home was flooded with three- to four-feet of water. deals with the home, the flood, and the aftermath, but through the eyes of Christian animals.
