Reaper had froth dripping out of his mouth and his eyes were blood shot. Reaper waited to see if his snack would dare to face him before coldly adding, “Why don’t you come out in battle array? Am I not a huge wolf? Are you not a defenseless kitten?”
Jakey, who had been listening, stepped out of the bushes to face this cruel wolf. Jakey felt like the Lord was with him and he was not afraid. Jakey stepped in a small pile of mud and had a twigs plastered on one of his paws. Jakey stood his ground when Reaper stood up to his full height. Reaper giggled at the idea this kitten would attempt to fight him.”

About the Book
Willow has always loved listening to biblical stories. The Echoes of the Zeiglar March has given her a chance to share some of those stories in a new light. An example of this is the story of David and Goliath—seen with Jakey and Reaper.
About the Author
Willow Love continues the story of the Zeiglar group seeking their “promised land” in this book. Willow has used the names and temperament of the real animals who lived through the flood of her home in 2010. Leo, Rhianna, Rio, and Lilly are just as they were written. Willow’s daughter has looked forward to this story being published and has drawn courage and laughter from the story. Willow hopes for her readers to understand this is pure fantasy and a way to retell biblical stories.
