I too cursed the day I was born. Like Job, I was not complaining. I simply hurt so much this was the only way I knew how to express my pain. The loneliness was so deep no other words could express the loss of my wife Pat.
At times alone, I would scream at God to kill me now, this minute. I don’t want to live any longer.

Jim has been preaching on marriage for years and has uncanny insights into marriage of the Bible. He has a BS and MA from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina, and an MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He and his wife, Pat, were married for forty-eight wonderful years when Pat was called home by our Lord. Jim lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, with family.
