Principal Scales says, “"Amy, I am sorry to tell you that you cannot sing your song about Jesus in the talent show. The talent show committee has found it in violation of school rules because of the song's religious message. I know the talent show is in a couple of weeks, but I hope that you can submit another song without so much religious matter. I am sorry."”As Amy listens to Principal Scales speak, her head begins to droop. The smile and joy that covered her face turns to sadness and disbelief. Amy replies, "But it's just a Jesus song! We sing it in church every Sunday. There is nothing offensive about the song. It is a love song to my Savior."”Principal Scales says, “"I know, Amy, but unfortunately the talent show committee believes your song needs to stay in church and not at school. I am sorry, Amy."”

About the Book
After Amy is told by her principal that she cannot sing a worship song to Jesus for her school’s talent show, Amy is troubled with her decision to remain a participant. She finds hope and direction when a crash-test dummy comes alive to share the Bible with her about her decision to stay in the talent show.
About the Author
