THE NEEDLE BENDS
As the needle bends my life has moved in a direction, in which forward should be it's only election, towards gain and prospererity. Like a Doppler of or relating to a radar test, trying to see, do you have room to pass life's clots and connecting those dots, which may form along the way. Staying focused in life, keeping me from making decisions, which will make me pay a price, that is beyond my means.
Those things which have myself thinking, that even probability & impossibility maybe on the same team, one which is more than likely a guarantee and the other needing hope, sending a note to my heart, saying it's okay to believe. Even though the outcome I cannot truly see.
As the needle bends and moves towards the middle, bent in a dark place. The light is not shining. Your thinking has become confused. Your mind is stuck strictly on bad news. Terrible Thoughts; Negatives which never appears to ever become positives. Those wrongs which made a right, even experience pain with no gain; just not moving; as if lame.
My life feels like a Lost, which has never been found. The weight in my heart with immeasurable pounds. The loneliness that sits in a room, with no space to move. I'm laying in a Tomb, not being able to speak a word and no one to listen to. My story is about things in my past, I have felt and heard. People saying things about me, which is mean and absurd.
As the needle bends, I'm feeling far from my destiny, in which now I fear. Where are my peers. Here in this middle, I'm in neutral, which is an unmovable gear. Just like a stick shift nothing in my life is an automatic. It's more like a car with no wheels. Other parts of me are beginning to fall off and peel.
My eyes are beginning to swell. The shedding of my tears can easily show & tell, that all hope is lost and has been tossed to and fro, like a storm which has no name. My life appears to be insignificant, like a loser to a game.
As the needle bends, maybe it's time to go further back and reflect on those pieces, which appears like a pair of pants with double creases. My life had too many lines being crossed. Those storms in my past, I regret going through. The blessings and Promises which never came true. At least with my sickness and illnesess, I was able to prevail. Those were the times when God made a head and not the tail. When taking lead and listening to warnings kept me from having to fail in God's eyes.
I experience love and payed attention to my personal feelings, which filled and empty void. There were times when God removed things, that bothered and annoyed me. I was thankful but I failed to show gratefulness, when I made it over plundering situations and overcoming unhealthy sensations. My addiction was my affliction, along with a prediction of things which ultimately made my needle fall, straight to the bottom middle and no longer standing tall.
oh how the needle bends, a new life after reflection. Now underneath God's wing, there is refuge and protection. Gratefulness is the answer to turning on the light. My needle no longer Bends; it stands straight and up right.

About the Book
Change and God are two words, which define life. “Something must change in order to create change.” The King James Bible states it all profoundly in Ecclesiastes 3:1“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Merriam -Webster describes one definition of change as “undergoing transformation, transition, or substitution. To give a different position, course, or direction to replace with another.” The change a human being experiences in life often emulates the changes and stages a Caterpillar/Butterfly experiences. A Caterpillar goes through a life cycle known as complete metamorphosis, which is a striking alteration in appearance, character, or circumstances. The Caterpillar/Butterfly’s life cycle includes egg, larva, pupa, and adult. The life cycle of a human includes: Infancy, Childhood, Adolescence and Adulthood.
The main job of an adult butterfly’s life is to reproduce. After a female butterfly mates, she searches for the proper host plant to lay her eggs and the cycle begins again. Such is the cycle of a human being.
In this book Troy Bunch uses poetry & short stories as an example to show the different changes human beings experience in life. From natural and physical to emotional and spiritual. From inspirational to sensational. From confrontational to peace. From hate to love. From confusion and illusion to revelation and reality. From vanity to prosperity. From self-centeredness to sincerity. From oneness to relationship. From feeling incomplete to becoming complete. From uncertainty to complacency. From sadness and depression to happiness and expression. The poems in this book gives examples of these exact changes through which life takes individuals. No matter who you are or what you go through, one thing is guaranteed… CHANGE IS COMING.
About the Author
Troy Bunch was born in Boston Massachusetts and now resides in North Carolina. As a boy he loved to express his thoughts and feelings on paper. He has written numerous articles for various magazines. He’s the play write of a Gospel Stage Production called “White As Snow”. He’s also the author of three powerful, heart-warming, children’s books “A World Made From Wishes And Dreams”, “The Boy Who Lived In A Star” and “The Well Of Wonder And Wisdom.” He has recently released a book of Psalms/Poetry called “Spoken in Tongues” (Divine Poetic Interpretations). One of his signature poems, which have literally changed people’s lives, is “I Left It At The Cross”.
