Sure, it is more than a simple five letter word. It’s a challenging word so invincible that it cannot be dominated. Humanity knows nothing of its meaning and in Christ; it defines itself and is proven in His handiworks. Trust is a sensitive word, and many have their own definition ranging from odd to peculiar.
A strong heart identifies with “Trust” as the embedded values that are faintly painted within old memories passed down from generation to generation. Old familiar fables conjure up a sense that “Trust” merely transitions from the deceptive traits of the elders to the cunning artistic ways of an Uncle.
Its abusive pass swiftly interprets the meaning, to symbol that of a broken chain; rusted, fragile, and no longer in use. You may laugh a little, but it is true…trust may seem old. On the contrary, it is never outdated. It has the capability and power to renew the toughest relationship. Perhaps it’s a political statement, a meticulous act, or possibly used to ridicule the sympathetic person that desires to see the good in a soul. This person understands that regardless of the outcome; you will never find “Trust” to become prejudice. Life counts it as an ole reliable friend that’s true to life. You can depend on it as a mutual motion governed by the hand of Christ.
Indeed, it has seen many tears and experienced much laughter. Despite all, it’s greatly concerned with the lonesome person that refuses to believe in its significance. What is “TRUST?” Their heart is crushed, humiliated, and almost ground to particles of dust.
How can “trust” try to soak up the wailing tears, which steadily continue to flow? The warmth of the tears has created a wet path down the cheeks, around the curves of the chin…merely far enough to drip onto the folded hands of a confused soul.
This is what Christ has tried so hard to warn His people of. Out of desperation, love, and kindness; He elevated the detour signs and waved the red flags. Trust in Me, I will never deceive or repay my love with such taunting memories. In love and kindness, He has instructed his people not to trust in mankind. For example, trust exemplified in “friends” causes them to scorn you: Scorned by Friends- Job 16:20 My friends scorn me: but mine eye poureth out tears unto God.
Life changing experiences will divide the strongest friendship. It will assess the authenticity of a friendship and even shake the foundation that it was built upon. As Saints, we’ve failed to understand that friends aren’t equipped to handle trust and cannot resolve issues. Therefore, it’s within their human nature to misunderstand; because they cannot assess the situation inside and out. Neither do they possess the wisdom or knowledge to explain why the situations arouse. Instead of strengthening your heart they’ve added injustice.
To think, many spend years building a solid friendship and would like to think that doing the course there should be some level of trust. Whereas to know and understand the person whom you’ve grown to appreciate. This would include, knowing how to relate to each other’s pain during difficult days. Unfortunately, friends aren’t always in tuned with God. In many ways appearing to resemble the likeness of holiness; only to find out that they are counterfeit. As a result, they offer unwise counsel and their words deters away at your aching soul. They’ve forgotten about mercy and adamantly interject scorn. Their opinion allows them to discredit and expose their personal emotions against your troubled spirit. There is no trust in man, for the thoughts of their hearts are corrupt and irrational. Without notice, your eyes pour out tears to God. Offering unto Him, the sacrifices of a broken heart; and He can restore the joy of salvation unto you.
Here you are stuck in the mire clay; waiting to be liberated. Christ becomes the personal Coach sending the Holy Ghost to push you into the realms of perfection. Trust is derived from The LORD and it is more than a five-letter word. Everything in this foul world is built upon it. Somehow, the world has managed to manipulate its meaning and the church has diminished its value. How we’ve forgotten that “Trust” belongs to Christ. Jesus Christ is commended on originating TRUST; its sovereignty, His power, and authority. Every so often “Trust” will cause some to scratch their head in amazement while others may shake their heads when they hear others speak of it. Many will continue to doubt in its existence. It becomes a mystery to the lost.
Don’t try to rationalize with it – after experiencing the brunt of its misuse, the soul has learned how to become acquainted with it. For it can only be defined by a person’s faith and belief. So, “What is Trust?” In whom should we credit such a word? Of course, not a man. For they’ve exploited “Trust” enough, misused and tarnished its reputation. As vile creatures, the carnality of their thinking is bursting in their arrogant desires. The abuse of “Trust” is seen as a fraudulent mechanism to trick and impair the weak. Mankind could revoke the value of trust and spell out its meaning and make it more beneficiary for themselves. The trust exemplified by them cause’s tears, rebellion, usury, strife, and temptation. These rotten fruits aren’t feasible for spiritual growth.
How can the righteous believe in a five-letter word that they cannot see? What use does it have? King David says in Psalm 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. The LORD encourages His people to trust in Him for their own sake. This is a wise thing and is counted unto us as righteous. Our LORD and Saviour devote himself to protecting, guiding and nurturing every soul that depends upon his power, wisdom, and goodness.
Trust is the Father’s, fashioned by him as a binding agreement working as the keeper of our souls. Firmly fixed and rooted deeply within the Christian faith. The integrity thereof is proven by the generosity shown on the Cross and His love for humanity. The value of his “Trust” has great expectation that reaches beyond measures to captivate the hearts of those that no longer believes. It has been charged to remain reliable without superficial consequences.
