Finding beauty in the Ashes is a sequel to my book, Stolen Identity.
The things I have been able to accomplish since my encounter with the Lord compel me to share with others how God took the ashes of my life and turned them into something beautiful. Because of how God helped me through the difficult times in my life, I can now help you overcome things in your life because today I am a free woman with a desire to see those who have known feelings of shame, humiliation, disgrace, unworthiness, anger and the pain of the past to find freedom.
God never gives up on you
Thank God that he never gave up on me. There were things that I had to do before I could be set free. I had to see and understand the underlying cause of my actions and my feelings of guilt and to be willing to endure the pain of the past no matter how painful it was, be willing to face the truth, be willing to deal with it, and most of all be willing to forgive and release those who had wronged me so that I could be set free. Forgiving and letting go was difficult for me, because hurting people like to believe it is everyone else’s fault rather than face the problem at hand. I wanted everyone to feel my pain and misery. I was looking for sympathy, I wanted people to understand my pain without knowing what I was going through. I wanted them to understand my anger which I took out on those closest to me. I did not like myself. After I would blow up in anger, I felt condemnation, shame and guilt. I believed there was no hope for me. Feeling hopeless is an awful place to be because you feel trapped and it is difficult for one to see a way out.
Forgiving does not come easily. Some people struggle with it because they do not understand that forgiving someone benefits the one doing the forgiving more than the one being forgiven, although it also releases the one unforgiveness has held in bondage. Forgiving frees you from the tie to your abuser. Maybe that is why Jesus had to keep reminding his disciples to forgive not just once but seventy times seven. ((Matthew 18:21,22 KJV)
God created you special and unique, no matter what it may look like now, there is a hidden treasure waiting to be revealed and beauty can be found in the ashes of your life that will transform the way you think and the way you have been seeing yourself.

This book will help you recover your identity in Christ, It will show you how you can become a vessel God can use for his glory and it will inspire you to become all you can be as you realize that you are a unique creation and there is only one of you. You are not like anyone else so don’t try to copy someone else because you can only succeed at being you.
About the Author
Rosie Rivera is a teacher of the Word. She graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center (College) in 1991. She and her husband minister together in churches after having pastored for 24 years in three churches. They have ministered in some of the Latin Countries and are currently in transition. One of her main focuses is to minister to women who have been abused and teaching them the importance of knowing God, knowing who they are in Christ and knowing their enemy. She desires to see women set free from the past through studying the word and finding out how to renew their mind, forgiving and learning to leave the past behind through applying the word of God to their situations and discovering the woman God created them to be.
