Without an iota of exaggeration, the numerous blessings mentioned in this testimony present the truth and not a prideful self-satisfaction or self-gratification. The latter intention does not exist on my part because it is unbiblical, and therefore not doable, based on the Bible’s verse 2:7 in the very first book of Genesis. Its notes elaborate that “many people boast of their achievements and abilities as though they were the originators of their own strengths. Others feel worthless because their abilities do not stand out. In reality, our worth comes not from our achievements but from the God of the universe, who chooses to give us the mysterious and miraculous gift of life.”(NLT, 9) The fact that our worth comes only from God of the universe is the view that I had adopted and consistently applied as truth claim of this testimony. This is important because “the beginning point of faith is believing in God’s character: He is who he says. The end point is believing in God’s promises: He will do what he says. When we believe that God will fulfill his promises even though we do not see those promises materializing yet, we demonstrate true faith.” ESV,2755
I am a broken sinner who needed a Savior Who removed the sins as far from me as the east is from the west.
Love overcomes ill-feelings and replaces it with truthful forgiveness, which in turn cyclically regenerates self-sacrificial agape love.
One needs a true commitment not to doubt the benefits of God’s Word and properly apply them to one’s life patiently, professionally, purposefully, persistently, positively and prudently with polite and humble attitude.
When I was not even yet in my teens, I was in a desperate need of resolving issues of hunger and thirst that persisted in my childhood life as I was being raised. I had then sought shelter in a hostile host, with whom I should have shared the Word of the merciful, loving God Who says to him (if he were alive) and myself, today, “share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help. Then your salvation will come like the dawn, and your wounds will quickly heal. Your godliness will lead you forward and the glory of the Lord will protect you from behind.”30 (Isaiah 58:7-8, NLT).
At any stage of the season of our lives we must fall under the feet of God in prayer seeking His mercy and help to understand that:
Unless we repent, our sins will result in punishment. We must let God intervene in our life. Then we will be able to rejoice in that day because we will have nothing to fear. When God rules his restoration will be complete. When God pardons, he restores our relationship with him. God promises to meet the deepest needs of those who love him by loving us, forgiving us, giving us purpose in life, and giving a caring Christian community. But God does not promise wealth and prosperity. Where there is repentance, there is hope. This promise of forgiveness should have encouraged the people to repent.” (NLT, 1856)
Here comes the Good News: Jesus brought salvation with Himself from Heaven to earth. The loving Father did not let Him return to the Throne without conquering the devil and bringing reconciliation of the people of the world He loved to glory. That victory only happened when He was crucified on the cross, buried in the tomb, resurrected, and finally bodily ascended to Heaven to be with His glorious Father, who adopted us as His children as soon as we placed our faith in Jesus.
The best part of the Good News is that upon Jesus Second Coming those who received Jesus will rise to be with Jesus while those who rejected Him will go to eternal fire. He gave us the most precious opportunity of being saved from the wrath of God and by being spiritually born again by way of regeneration through the Holy Spirit. Once we are in the repentance bandwagon, we will be on our way to glorification through the Help of the Holy Spirit. What a glorious trip to Heaven, how do we become so careless to turn it down.
Yes, once upon a time, I was one of those who turned Jesus down, but only temporarily, when I was blinded by the lying devil who never likes anything good for us. But I beat him hard, and he unwillingly gave way for my fruitful action, and I grabbed it without any reimagination to go to Heaven because the cheater devil was beaten, badly trodden, under my foot and he came down to pave my way to Heaven, to be with my friend, Jesus Christ, forever, Amen!.
Oh, when we’re in Heaven we won’t see the cheaters again! They were permanently forgotten after they were already thrown deep into the deepest of the fire, that never be turned off again, burning all the time far away from Heaven. What a hopeless cistern to sink too deep in, filled with a burning fire to the brim, and being thrown into the lake of fire that is filled with extreme heat never turning down all the sinners who’ve no choice but to stay therein. I want to be sure it is not where you’re placed, my dear brothers and sisters.
I guessed you took the best choice because the door was opened for you since over two thousand years ago when Jesus Christ the Savior came. Ushering you in with a welcome red blood that He shed for you on the cross, taking you away from the deadly sin, so you can be in Heaven. You’re offered what you ought to have chosen. The opportunity may never come once again, if you now turn it down. I trust, my dear brothers and sisters, you have now chosen something you won’t ever turn down because it is so, so very good that you never want to stay away from Heaven. It is where we will become alive from death; carried over from darkness to light to live in the Light.
