About the Book

Through her reseach and Bible study, author Treva Scott Thompson discovered that God rewards those who diligently seek him. She transformed from being a child of fear to finding a father who dwells within. Since we are his temple, he communicates in a way we can understand and find peace. As Thompson sought God, she wrote down her prayers, and as she wrote, his words began to flow out of her.

These messages include the words he used as he talked to the multitudes while here on earth, words of comfort and peace, and words that were written in the Bible. These words helped Thompson understand him and provided comfort to her. In You Can Know His Voice, she includes some of the writings, essays, and poems, sharing the lesson that we are his children, and he says we cannot live by bread alone. Every word that comes from God’s mouth has fresh food for us every day.

You Can Know His Voice chronicles the conflicts and victories, sharing how Thompson’s thinking was the biggest battle. Things she had been taught as a youngster had to be erased before God could write upon her heart and mind. Fear and condemnation are not of him, she learned. He desires peace, rest, comfort, and faith for us.

About the Author

Treva Scott Thompson was part of a large family with loving parents. A fearful child, she listened to preachers who taught condemnation instead of love. She became engrossed in God’s words trying to free herself from fear; she needed to know God loved her. Thompson searched the Bible and found the peace she sought. She has written six other books. They portray her walking and talking to God on her way out of bondage.
