The Gift of Forgiveness is written to help readers to understand the full potential that God has for there life, but until they learn how to forgive the person or people that caused there spirit, minds and soul to be disconnected from him, they cannot and will not arrive to that place that God has ordained for there life, most of us think that because we are already walking in the gifting that we have arrived, being a Preacher, Teacher, Pastor, Prophet, Evangelist, Apostle obtaining certificates and certifications through biblical doctrine we are the chosen ones, we are qualified for the position, let me just be truthful and honest. God gives gifts without repentance, and man gives certificates and certifications without God's permission, many are called but few are chosen, start forgiven and you will soon find out wheether your called or chosen.
The Gift of forgiveness talks about Pastor Laverne Booker-Kornegay life's struggles the trails and tribulations that she suffered and endured during her first marriage, and other circumstances and situations along her journey, that she have been through, and how she overcame, and are still overcoming.
How she allowed herself to forgave her abuser and others that has tained and scandlized her name and how God begin to raise her up and redeem her beyond her own expections, but if she hadn't forgiven her abuser she wouldn't be walking in the gifts God had ordained for her life.

You cannot possible think you love others if you haven't forgiven the person or people who has hurt you 1st Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient, Love is kind. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things... Love never fails.
If you really want to forgive and the enemy is stagnating your mind to make you fell that they don't deserve forgiveness contine to read the scripture above and allow your healing to take flight to another level, and when you do so, know this that eyes haven't seen ears haven't heard nor has it entered the hearts of man what God going to do for you.
The race is not given to the swift but to the one who ednures to the end.
She goes on in her book to demostrate and lead you to where God lead her to overcome and to stay anchor and fast and pray, even in her struggles she never gave up on God, and in doing so it allowed her to forgive.

Pastor Laverne Booker-Kornegay was born January 17 1965, raised in the City of Newark.
She has two biological Children. Evans T. Montlouis Jr., Gabrielle Montlouis. She is happily married to Joseph Earl Kornegay.
Laverne Booker - Kornega has tyransformed herself into a motivational speaker.

She is the owner of the Non-Profit Organization. The Restoring Life Restoration Center Corp. (for battered and abused women).
