As the saying goes, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” It took time, and a lot of repenting, before I came to a place where I could face a threatening situation and not be ruffled by it. The more I prayed for increased faith, the more trusting of God I became. Then seeing how God miraculously turned things around in the midst of a trial, the more encouraged I was to trust Him through the next storm. Before long, I could compile a list of trials through which the Lord had delivered me. Nothing puts a believer on surer footing than seeing concrete results of God's involvement.

Life nowadays is hectic, busy and technical. It is all too easy for believers to become wrapped up in all the "must dos" in our day-to-day lives, and put our spiritual lives on automatic pilot. But there is a danger that exists when we are starved for God's presence, and don't realize it.
About the Author
Rosalie is a surrendered servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the author of Letter To An Unbeliever. Rosalie makes her home in San Diego, California, and is the mother of four grown sons. A former alumnus of Regent University, Rosalie is one year short of a Bachelors degree in psychology, which she hopes to complete one day.
