Believers versed in Scripture, and mindful of the atrocities perpetrated against the Jewish people time and again, recognize the extreme danger Israel faces today from a largely anti-Semitic world, a heavily Muslim-influenced U.N., and a future nuclear Iran. In fact, the plight of Israel is one of several crucial issues motivating the Church to rouse from its long slumber – a period during which much valuable ground had been surrendered to the godless, and an inordinate amount of damage had been done to our society. Tragically, as Christians abdicated more and more of their responsibility to govern this nation, normally characteristic American charity was not forthcoming toward the Jewish people in their greatest time of crisis - the Holocaust. Millions of innocent lives were tragically lost as a result. Little has been said of the many boatloads of desolate Jewish refugees turned away by the American State Department, and by other nations as well, as the Nazi “War Machine” raged. The abandonment of the besieged Jewish people at a time when consummate evil tyrannized the globe will stand in the annals of history as a chilling glimpse of a possible future America….one in which government will replace God.
