What if there were no colors on the beach, on the water, or in the sky? What if we couldn't hear the squeals of the seagulls and pelicans and the crashing of the porpoises or the waves on the shore? We need to stop and be thankful for every tiny and big blessing out here. Just think how empty and colorless our world would be without them.

About the Author
Having the fortunate opportunity to spend many years on the coast of North Carolina, Allison roamed the area and waters often with her father, who taught her an admiration and appreciation of all aspects of nature. She thankfully has been able to share the area with her sons and grandchildren. It has become a sanctuary of gratefulness to our Creator.
Allison is a graduate of Duke University with an AB in Elementary Education. She holds an MEd in Special Education from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and she has a CSML from Harvard University. As an educator, community volunteer and mother, her constant goal is to stimulate one’s imagination and to be a beacon of God’s Light. Her desire is to impress upon her children and grandchildren the value of His astonishing miracles and Love.
